Is livingarrangement.org free?
You get 30 days free when you sign up — no card required. After that, it's a simple flat rate — $8.99/month or $89/year. Everything is included, and you can cancel any time.
Who can see our household data?
Only the members you invite and share the household with. You control who is added. Don't enter anything you wouldn't want your household members to see.
How is my data protected?
Your household data is stored on the Living Arrangement platform and is only visible to the members you invite to your household. All traffic to and from the app uses HTTPS encryption, and access to your records is restricted to the household members you've added. We don't sell your data.
Are the records legally binding?
No. Expenses, balances, and agreements are convenience summaries — not legal or financial advice. A formal record can support your account of events, but it doesn't by itself prove a legal obligation.
Does settle up send money?
No. Settle up calculates who owes whom and the fewest payments that get everyone back to even. You pay each other through Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, or however you prefer.
Is there a mobile app?
Living Arrangement works in any phone browser, and you can add it to your home screen for an app-like experience.
What happens when someone moves out?
You can remove a member from the household when they move out. They lose access to the household's shared records, while the expenses and agreements from when they were a member stay on the record for the remaining members.
Can I use it with roommates, not just partners?
Yes. livingarrangement.org works for any shared living group — couples, roommates, or housemates tracking expenses and agreements together.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Your membership stays active until the end of your billing period. No refunds are issued for partial periods.

How do I get the military discount?
Sign up with your .mil email address and the one-time household setup fee drops to $9.99 automatically at checkout. The membership rate stays the same. If you don't have a .mil email, contact support at pamundson@outlook.com.
